SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM (with lifetime product warranty) for laptops and mini desktops:
- 32GB (2x16GB) HyperX Impact DDR4 SO-DIMM 2666MHz CL-15 for $102, or $97 with AmEx credit.
  Normally $140.
  The CAS latency of 15 (CL-15) means it performs faster than other 2666MHz memory in this price range. Most other SO-DIMM memory has a higher (slower) CAS latency of 19 or 20. Here are similar 2x16GB memory that go for about $100, but with a slower CL speed.

One important note that may effect your purchasing decision. Kingston requires an adult signature upon delivery for orders over $200. This can be a problem for people who would not be home during working hours, or do not want to interact with a courier during times of Covid-19. If you are concerned, call Kingston or place order(s) below $200.

Look at your computer's manual or google for its specs, to determine which memory is compatible. You will want to know:
- Memory size: SO-DIMM is normally the memory for laptops and mini computers, and regular DIMM for desktop computers. A wrong size will not fit.
- Memory type: DDR4 is not compatible with DDR3 and older. A wrong type will not work.
- Memory capacity per module (maximum) and number of slots. For example, if your computer has 2 slots supporting up to 16GB per slot, then your computer can be upgraded to 32GB memory (or less).
- Memory speed (minimum): memory should have a MHz speed at least what your computer supports. This should only effect performance, if the memory speed is slower than what your computer can handle.

Groupon.com - Costco: First Year Membership and $40 Credit for $60

If you want a Costco membership, Groupon is offering a better deal than signing-up in the store.

Pay $60 to get
- One year Costco membership, valid for up to 2 people.
- A $40 Costco shop card (store credit)
- A coupon for $40 off of a $250+ online order at Costco.com
Normally, a one year Costco membership costs $60 without free store credit.

This deal is for new Costco members, or previous members whose memberships expired before April 1.

Two important things to know:
- Costco will automatically renew your membership in a year, likely at the regular $60 price. If you decide not want to renew, you will have to cancel before it automatically renews.
- Costco only accepts Visa credit cards, bank debit cards (with a PIN number), or cash in-store. You cannot use MasterCard, American Express, or Discover cards for any purchases at Costco stores, Costco gas stations, and Costco.com.
For those looking for grocery delivery, Costco currently does not offer that. Third-party services like Instacart do provide Costco shopping & delivery, but have what we believe to be a hefty 20% per-item surcharge regardless of whether you have a Costco membership. So, Instacart is a horrible deal for those looking for Costco delivery.

As another alternative, many local grocery stores now offer their own delivery service, at the same prices as in the stores plus a fixed shopping & delivery fee. Someone with Amazon Prime membership can also get free delivery on a $35+ order at Whole Foods Market where items cost the same as shopping in the store.
