Buy.com - 50-pack of DVD+R DL Media for $40
A pair of 25-pack 8x Double Layer DVD media for $40 with free shipping, a great deal at $0.80 per disc. This is a great deal if you need some double layer discs handy, like in that situation when you need to burn more than 4.5GB onto a single disc. Many other stores, especially retail stores, sell double layer media for around $2 per disc. Some DVD Burner drives can only write at 2.4x on these discs, meaning it can take 40 minutes to burn each disc to capacity.

While this is a great deal, these days many people may prefer a BlacX hard drive docking station to store their stuff onto Serial-ATA hard drives. Hard drives cost more per GB than DVDs, but can store a lot more data much easier & faster than burning DVDs, and are lighter than carrying around books of DVD wallets.
