SamsClub.com - Kodak Z812 Digital Camera for $218
Kodak Z812 Digital Camera with 12x image stabilized optical zoom, and 1280x720 30 frames per second video capture (same resolution as 720p HDTV, half the frames per second). SamsClub.com sells it for $210 for Sam's Club members only, plus about $8 shipping. Other stores sold this camera cheaper a couple months ago, but now it is rare to find one under $240. It has some of the best reviews we have seen for a camera around this price (Newegg, Amazon, DigitalCameraInfo.com reviews). People say the quality is similar to a more expensive SLR, but more compact, easier to use, and includes HD quality video capture. The Z812 has been replaced by newer cameras, a Z8612 model (no HD video capture) and a Z1012 model (HD video capture but much more expensive).

Note, it does not include a rechargeable battery. It requires disposable CRV3 batteries (1 included), a Kodak brand KLIC-8000 rechargeable battery with a compatible charger, or rechargeable AA batteries rated at least 2500 mAh. Although regular AA batteries will fit, they will not work. Some non-Kodak brand KLIC-8000 batteries will not work, so beware buying cheaper third party brand.

Dell.com - Kodak Z712 Digital Camera for $150
Kodak Z712 7-megapixel digital camera with 12x optical zoom for $150 with free shipping, when using coupon 2HK$H6VQ1KLFF2 in the cart. Most other stores sell this camera for at least $185. It's an older model camera and has been replaced by more expensive models (which cost $50 more), but does have very good reviews and is one of the least expensive cameras available with an image stabilized 12x optical zoom.
