- 32" 1080p LCD HDTV Monitor for $470
Sceptre 32" 1080p LCD HDTV for $450 plus $20 shipping.
Has decent specs, with 2500:1 contrast ratio, 6ms response time, 2 HDMI inputs, 2 Component Video inputs, and VGA input.
No built-in tuners, so it must be used with a cable box, fiber converter, or satallite service.
Costco extends the manufacturer's warranty from one year to two.
Like all Costco television purchases, returns accepted for any reason, up to 90 days after purchase.
Non-Costco members can place orders online with a 5% surcharge, otherwise membership costs $50/yr.

- Sharp Aquos 46" 1080p LCD HDTV for $1050 (expired: 11/19, no longer online)
Sharp Aquos 46" 1080p LCD HDTV with pretty good specs, on sale for $1000 in-store and online.
Shipping adds $50 to the price, if you cannot find one in-store.
The $1000 in-store price may require a coupon found in this month's coupon book, which they may give you upon request at the customer service counter.
The HDTV has a 2000:1 native contrast ratio (10,000:1 dynamic), 6ms response time, over-the-air and basic cable HD tuners, 4 HDMI inputs, 2 component video inputs, a VGA input, and 2 year Costco warranty.
Oddly though, this model is not found on Sharp's USA website, meaning perhaps this HDTV was manufactured exclusively for Costco.
Either way, $1050 with a 2 year Costco store warranty makes this a pretty good deal for Costco members.
Costco membership costs $50/year.
Also a smaller Sharp 42" 1080p LCD HDTV is available for $830 after shipping fee.
Sharp classifies this model entry level, with decent specs, and also a 2 year Costco warranty.
