Its reviews are mixed, some love it, some hate it, with the biggest complaint being poor support by the manufacturer.

Westinghouse makes good quality screens with plenty of inputs and features, however be aware some people had problems dealing with Westinghouse's repair service for dead TVs. One advantage of buying through BestBuy.com, they have local stores which can handle service and repair, if needed.

During purchase, a 4-year service warranty can be purchased for $99, covering problems due to a defective product, overheating, power surge, normal wear, and defective pixels. That is actually a pretty good deal for 4 years of protection, and worth considering since Westinghouse's own repair service is not very good. Total cost for a 42" 1080p HDTV, Up-Convert DVD Player, and 4 year BestBuy warranty on the TV would be $850.
