Although this is a dell OEM hard drive, its product specs do match the Western Digital 120GB special edition hard drive with 8MB cache, and is supposed to be the best performing IDE hard drive on the market. This is probably the best performing $1.04/GB deal you can find. However, only a one year warranty from Dell. If this drive came with a 3-year warranty instaed of 1-year, this would certainly be a red hot deal. Comments on this deal. Update (10am): It looks like a they just increased the drive's price from $169 to $189. For me, purchase price comes to $141 right now. Update (6pm): They just pulled the item off the website, probably because they took too many orders. |
