| Details: | 750GB Serial-ATA hard drive for $100 (expired: 7/24) (repost) Back again for today:
Update (12pm EDT): If you intend to use drives like these for removable storage rather than inside a computer, like with a BlacX docking station, it may be a good idea to pick up some anti-static bags. Newegg's drives do come in a factory sealed anti-static bag, but are not re-sealable. There are some nicer bags available with zip-loc tops. StaticBags.com sells a 50-pack of 6x8 Zip-Loc Top Anti-Static Bags for $8.45 plus $4.75 shipping ($13.20) through their website and through Ebay. We found their bags very handy for safekeeping removable hard drives, and that store has superb reviews on Ebay. Although these bags provide no cushion protection from violent impacts. |
