Details:Changhong 50" LED-backlit LCD 1080p HDTV for $400
(repost)

Changhong 50-inch LED-backlit LCD 1080p HDTV is still priced at $400.

Cons about this TV:
  • No built-in apps. In our opinion though, these are features that most people will probably never use. Apps are useful for watching Netflix, Amazon videos, and Youtube, however you can simply add a $100 Roku 3 Streaming Media Player.
  • No 3D. 3D is neat but has not taken off. Most homes that have 3D televisions rarely use their TV for 3D viewing over a long period of time.
  • Sports fans may rate this 60Hz TV a little lower than a 120Hz or 240Hz TV, but ask those sports fans if the digitally enhanced motion quality is worth paying at least double.
  • The TV's thickness is 3.35 inches when mounted on a wall. Some more expensive TVs (such as a Samsung UN60F8000) are as thin as 1.4 inches and look so cool when mounted on the wall. The Changhong will stick out a little further off the wall.
Most people are happy with their purchase, and it costs about half of TVs you will find at Costco, Best Buy, and Amazon. We have one, and was the best deal we bought this year.

There are two ways to buy it, Some detailed specs are on the manufacturer's website. Newegg has an unboxing video.
