Details:First Month of Streaming TV for $10
The Super Bowl airs Sunday, and the Winter Olympics begins on Feb 8. People who dropped cable can watch the action in high definition through a streaming live TV service, at least until their Internet provider's "slow lanes" kick in.

Directv Now, one of those services, is offering your first month of Directv Now for $10. So, you can watch local & cable channels carried by Directv Now for the month of February for $10.

To get the deal:
  1. First, check out the channel lineup and local channel lookup to see what channels are available for your area.
  2. If you like what you see, sign up.
  3. Apply code YESNOW to get $25 off your first month. So, the $35/mo package costs $10 for the first month.
No contracts, so you can cancel anytime before the first month is over to pay no more than $10.

Reviews of their Apple and Android apps average 3 out of 5 stars, which is not that great, so it's worth reading the reviews to see why people rated it poorly.

HBO can be added for $5/mo.

Note. Directv Now does not yet have DVR service, so the service only lets you watch shows live. There will be no pause, rewind, and delayed-watching.

Other streaming TV services that have a DVR are: Available channels vary by service. For example, YouTube TV does not carry TBS and Comedy Central, but does have BTN and regional sports channels. Also, some local channels are not yet carried by each service, particularly local ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates whose streaming contracts vary by region.

All streaming TV services can be played on mobile devices in & out of the home, on a computer, and through TV-connected streaming devices like Roku, Chromecast, and Apple TV. Most also work with Amazon Fire TV, except YouTube TV.
