Inside the cardboard doors, you'll find...
1 x microphone with an attached pivot mount
An adjustable desk stand
1 x USB cable
A ⅝ to ⅜ adapter
And a user manual
MY FIRST IMPRESSION
I will admit that my first impression of this unit outside the box is a good one. The two-tone black and grey look really nice on this microphone. In addition to that, the microphone itself has a nice heavy duty feel to it, with a heavy duty metal desk stand to compliment it. What’s also cool is you can mount this to a professional microphone stand using the existing pivot mount that came with it. So far so good
INSTALLATION
Did you notice that no disks were included? That’s because the K670 is plug and play. You literally plug it into your USB port, it automatically installs the driver in the background for your windows or mac computer, select this mic as your primary mic and your ready rock dock! This worked almost instantly after plugging it up on my mac. It took about a minute to install after plugging it up into my Windows PC for the first time.
SOUND QUALITY
It doesn't matter if your using this mic for online conferences, podcasting, streaming or recording vocals... the audio quality this mic produces is really good. I suggest that you watch my video that's attached to this review for sound quality tests. Sadly Amazon heavily compresses uploaded videos, so for a more high-quality experience...you can look me (Lewis Beasley) up on the most popular video watching site on the planet!
MY GRIPES
I really don’t have any. I think this microphone does exactly what it was designed to do. It sounds good, it feels durable, the stand is heavy duty and stable. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement (@FiFine) is to add a shock mount stand. If you bump or tap the surface that this microphone sits on, it's likely that shock vibration will be picked up in the microphone. Although the stand absorbs "a small percentage" of the vibration shocks, it doesn't absorb it all.
MY LIKES
1. I’m starting off with the price! Currently $42.99 on Amazon, this is a great deal. For those of you not wanting to spend $130 on something similar like the blue yeti. The K670 is a great alternative.
2. Secondly, I like how this is simple to use. Plug it in, select it as your primary microphone in whatever application you're using and your done.
3. Last but definitely not least is the sound quality. You heard it with your own ears. Don’t sleep on it!
