Arlo Ultra, Arlo Ultra 2, Arlo Pro 3, Arlo Pro 4, and Arlo Pro 5S cameras use a 3.85V 4800mAh 18.48Wh rechargeable lithium polymer battery.

Arlo Essential Camera, Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera, and Arlo Essential XL Spotlight Camera

The Arlo Essential Camera (VMC2020) and Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera (VMC2030) use a 3.63V 5080mAh 18.44Wh rechargeable lithium polymer battery.

The Arlo Essential XL Spotlight Camera (VMC2032) uses an extended length version of the same battery type that lasts longer before needing to be recharged.

Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 cameras use a 7.2V 2440mAh 17.57Wh rechargeable lithium ion battery.

 

Arlo Go

The Arlo Go camera uses a 7.2V 3660mAh 26.35Wh rechargeable lithium ion battery.

The Arlo Go battery has a higher capacity than the Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 camera battery. Arlo Go and Arlo Pro/Pro 2 batteries are not interchangeable. Do not attempt to power an Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 camera with an Arlo Go battery. Do not attempt to power an Arlo Go camera with an Arlo Pro battery.

Arlo Wire-Free

The Arlo Wire-Free camera (VMC3030) uses four CR123 lithium 3-volt photo batteries. Replacement batteries are available at third party retailers that specialize in battery sales.

Arlo has partnered with Tenergy to offer rechargeable CR123 batteries that are compatible with Arlo Wire-Free cameras. Tenergy batteries and chargers are available directly from Tenergy or from other third party retailers. If you choose to buy Tenergy rechargeable RCR123A batteries, make sure you purchase batteries that are marked: Works with Arlo.
