Details:Bundle: Google Home and Chromecast for $100
Google is offering their Google Home voice-operated speaker and Chromecast for $100 (for both) through their Ebay store. Google Home normally sells for $99 and Chromecast for $35.

Good things about this bundle:
  • Google Home is one of the highest rated voice-operated speakers on the market today.
  • Chromecast streams videos and music to your living room TV.
  • They sync together, so you can use your voice to tell Google Home to play YouTube videos and music through your Chromecast, without having to use a remote control.
This sale could be Google's brief preemptive strike before Amazon's upcoming "Prime Day" sales. Later this week, Amazon is expected to have discounts on many of their products, including the competing Amazon Echo. Google and Amazon have been competing heavily for share in the voice-operated speaker market. Apple will be getting into this market soon, too.

Voice-operated speakers are a big first step toward home automation, a giant industry expected to grow continuously. Amazon, Google, Apple, and even Comcast all want homes to start using their voice-operated products, as they all want to own the voice-operating boxes controlling devices in our homes.
